Notes on reading, walking, and noticing a little more. A quiet corner for ideas worth keeping.
A notebook without a plan
A useful notebook does not need a perfect first page. Start with a sentence from a book, an unfamiliar word, or a question you want to return to.
Leave space between entries. Over time, small observations begin to speak to one another. The habit matters more than the arrangement.
Taking the longer way home
The familiar route is easy to follow without looking up. An extra turn can make an ordinary walk feel new: a different shop window, a pocket of afternoon light, a tree beginning to change.
Some weekends need very little planning. A short walk, a warm drink, and time to read a few pages are often enough.
